Oct. 1, 2020 "After almost a year of lessons, I can confidently say that Mountain Valley Studios is a wonderful resource for learning. My daughter has been taking lessons from Mrs. Rebecca Brown and is thriving, growing and very much enjoying every minute of it! I am grateful for the safe and positive learning environment at Mountain Valley Studios. As a homeschooling family we are very selective about where we outsource our learning and Mountain Valley exceeds our expectations." ----Ruba Patterson
June 8, 2019 "Mrs. Brown is an absolute joy and a wonderful piano instructor! She is amazing with every child at every skill level. I highly highly recommend Mountain Valley Studios." ---- Ria Beach
May 10, 2019 "My son has learned to read music at 5 years old! He's progressing every week. He plays piano, but wants to learn guitar when he's old enough. I highly recommend this studio." ---- Andrea Restzloff
Oct. 18, 2017 Review from Gina Kauzlarich
"My daughter has been taking [piano] lessons from Rebecca Brown of Mountain Valley Studios for a year and half, after taking lessons elsewhere for 5 years. She has improved greatly, especially reading music and basic fundamentals for piano. She enjoys her lessons and her teacher. And still loves playing the piano."
July, 2012 Feedback from the mother of a student of Daniel Wilson (Trumpet)
"Everyone is very friendly and the instructors seem to be very good in their area of expertise. There is also a 'spiritual tone' among the people there and it is very family oriented. We had a very positive experience and may return again. I would highly recommend your studio to family and friends!"
7/11/12 A note from the mother of a student of Rebecca Brown
"Thanks, Rebecca, for always expecting the most out of [my son], and for being flexible to adapt your lesson presentation, etc. to reach his style/level of understanding. Thanks, too, for the extra time you spent arranging his Star Wars music. You definitely earn an A+++ as his teacher!!!"
9/22/2010 A note from Arlie Stanley Age: 71
I've had a life long ambition to learn to play piano. Because of job and family requirements, I never had the opportunity. At retirement, I had developed arthritis -- very painful in hands and wrists. I saw Mrs. Brown's listing in the Burleson ISD [Community Education] booklet. I relayed to her my goal and that I didn't know whether I could stay with it because of the arthritis. I've been taking lessons for 1 1/2 years and have noticed increased mobility in the hands and wrists. The pain is still there, but not nearly as bad. Piano has been a blessing! Fulfilling a dream and, I believe, helping with the arthritis.
August 16, 2010 Email from John Cameron Short-term Adult Student (John, a tomato salesman, was put through some interesting training through the company he works for. He was assigned an "impossible" project, to get him realize that nothing is impossible. His assignment? To learn a Broadway song and perform it in New York City in front of a large audience. Before coming to our studio, John had no background in music, whatsoever. This is the email received after his performance in New York)
"Subj.: New York loved me!! Hello Rebecca
Iam back from NYC and want to share that I rocked the house!! The coaches were pleased with how you both had me prepared, which made it very easy for them to introduce acting to go with singing. Though I had to cut it short with you both, you had me in great shape. The performance was fantastic and recieved a standing ovation from the audience.
It was a great experience that started with Mountain Valley Studios
